What is the best way to keep my stainless steel appliances clean andshiny?

I have stainless steel in my new house and I get little water drip marks and such on my appliances. When I scrub to clean them off, the steel looks dull afterwards. Is there a special cleaning solution or somthing I should use? I'd like to keep them looking new.
