I'm looking into kitchen hygiene as part of my dissertation, and came across the idea of a metal bar of soap. Apparently it removes odors, but not bacteria. How does this work?

the metallic outside gets the odors off ur hand and into the bar then it disappears slowly because the bar is made out of metal.....it really works great!
