Best Stainless steel Knife set for cooking?

I'm looking for a really good knife set. I plan on doing a lot of cooking and I don't want anything cheap. Any suggestions hopefully from folks that actually cook for a living. I'm not concerned about price, only quality and longevity.

First, DO NOT buy knife sets...get a couple of great quality/multi-purpose knives. Get knives that feel good in your hand, that are full tang ( meaning the blade goes all the way through the handle ) and are well balanced
