Identifying a jewelry maker!?

I have a men's stainless steel cross with a small diamond accent. It's pretty heavy and seems to be good quality. The only marking on the back is a G with a halo around the top. Under that it says "stainless steel". I've been trying and trying to find the name with no luck. If anybody can help, I would super appreciate it!!!

Silver smells sweet, silver plating smells like sulfur.
